Write, draw and think in one notebook
Text when you have words, a sketch when you do not, slides when you need to present and sheets when it is numbers. All in folders you browse like a drive.
A drive for your notes
Folders and files you browse like a drive, with search across every note.
Pageless or paged
Write on one long page, or switch to pages when the note is headed for print.
Sketches that tidy themselves
Pressure-sensitive ink, shapes that snap into place, text boxes, images and connectors that turn a sketch into a diagram.
Slides and sheets
Make a deck or a spreadsheet as a note, next to the writing it came from.
PDFs you can mark up
Import a PDF, write and draw on its pages, and keep the result with your notes.
A graph of your ideas
Switch on a folder’s graph to see how its notes connect, and follow the threads.
A canvas that keeps up with your hand
Draw with a pen or a finger and the stroke follows without lag. Rough shapes become clean ones, connectors stay attached when you move things, and you add pages when you run out of room.
- Pressure, shape recognition and a pen eraser
- Zoom, pan, snap and rotate
- Paper that is plain, lined, grid or dotted, in any colour, or a photo
Everything where you expect it
Notes live in folders you drag around like files, and each note type opens in the editor it needs. On a phone, notes open full screen with a toolbar that sits above the keyboard.
- Drag to move notes and folders
- Export any note on its own
- Lock Notes with a password or seal it with encryption
Questions about Notes
Can I write with a stylus?
Yes. Sketches read pen pressure where the device reports it, and the eraser end of the pen erases.
Can I export my notes?
Yes. Export a single note from the note itself, or everything at once from Storage and offline.
Can notes be private even from the assistant?
Yes. Seal the Notes tab with an encrypted lock and the assistant can never read it.
